Available in the optional 2012 Nissan Rouge SL Package, the Nissan Around View® Monitor utilizes four wide-angle cameras strategically positioned around the vehicle. A combination of views from the front grille, both side mirrors, and the lift gate provide a comprehensive analysis of your parking surroundings. The days of craning your neck are over.
Once you shift into reverse, the Nissan Around View® Monitor will instantly display a birds-eye view and rear view for you. Colored lines will guide you into place and the green-yellow-red shading will advise you of your spacing. After you have maneuvered backward, shift into Drive and enjoy even more benefits of the Nissan Around View® Monitor.
As you shift into Drive, the camera view will instantaneously change to the front camera so you can see objects as you inch forward. If you need to see how close your wheels are to the curb, simply press the Camera Button in the center console to switch to the side view mirrors. This function will help you from scraping your rims on the curb and also avoid tickets for parking too far from the curb!
